Cintas: Anyone else noticing a shift in team dynamics lately?

Hey all, been with Cintas for a few years now, mostly in a back-office role. Lately, things just feel... off. It's not one big thing, more like a collection of subtle changes. People seem a bit more on edge, less collaborative than usual. I've seen a few projects that were previously quite dynamic get scaled back or put on hold with little explanation. Team meetings feel a bit more like status updates for the higher-ups rather than actual discussions. Wondering if this is just my department or if others are experiencing a similar vibe. Is there a general atmosphere of caution that I'm picking up on, or am I just overthinking things? Curious to hear if anyone else is seeing similar trends or has any insights into why this might be happening.

Yeah, I've noticed something similar in my division too. It feels like there's more pressure to hit specific metrics, and it's kind of squeezing out the creativity and teamwork we used to have. People are definitely more focused on their individual tasks, and it's harder to get that spontaneous problem-solving going. The communication from management on why these shifts are happening seems pretty minimal, which only adds to the general uncertainty. Hope it's something that gets addressed soon.

Interesting you bring this up. My team has been experiencing some changes as well, though perhaps a bit less pronounced than what you're describing. We've had some new faces come in, and a few people move around, which naturally shifts the group dynamic. There's also been a push for more streamlined processes, which I can see as positive, but it does sometimes feel like it comes at the expense of the more relaxed, collaborative atmosphere we had before. Less water cooler chat, more direct efficiency focus.
