Cintas: Anyone else's department facing sudden budget freezes?

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if this is happening elsewhere. Over the past month or so, my department has gone from regular budget approvals to a near complete freeze. We're being told it's just 'necessary financial prudence' and 'optimizing resource allocation,' but it feels like something more. We've had a couple of all-hands meetings where leadership keeps talking about 'navigating uncertainty' and 'focusing on core business,' which is really vague. My manager is getting incredibly tight-lipped about anything that involves spending, even small things. It's making planning for the next quarter a nightmare. Wondering if this is a company-wide thing or just specific to our division. Anyone else dealing with unexpected budget shutdowns or severe restrictions lately?
