Cintas: Anyone else's projects getting an extra layer of review?

Hey everyone, has anyone else noticed a significant increase in the number of people reviewing project proposals and progress reports lately? It feels like every single initiative, no matter how small, is getting scrutinized by multiple levels of management. We're talking about extra sign-offs, lengthy justification docs for minor budget requests, and a general slowdown in getting things approved. It's making it really hard to move quickly. Anyone else seeing this uptick in oversight, and any theories why?

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the same thing. It feels like there's a new gatekeeper for every little thing now. We're spending more time documenting and justifying than actually doing the work, which is incredibly frustrating. I understand the need for checks and balances, but this level of micromanagement is grinding everything to a halt. Hopefully, it's just a temporary phase and things will loosen up soon.

Absolutely. It's like we've gone from trying to empower teams to make decisions to requiring a full committee hearing for even the most basic tasks. The added bureaucracy is a real drain on efficiency and morale. Makes you wonder if there's a specific reason for this sudden surge in oversight or if it's just a general shift in company culture. Either way, it's not sustainable for productivity.
