Cintas: Anyone else's team being asked to take on tasks from 'downsized' departments?

We've absorbed a significant chunk of work from what used to be the X team. Management is framing it as 'cross-functional integration' and 'opportunity for growth,' but honestly, it just feels like they cut headcount and are expecting the rest of us to pick up the slack. My to-do list is already insane, and now I'm being handed projects I have zero experience with and no extra support. Anyone else in a similar boat? It’s starting to feel unsustainable and frankly, a bit demoralizing.
