Cintas: Performance review process feels... different

Am I the only one who feels like the recent performance review cycle at Cintas was a bit off? Usually, it's a pretty standard process, but this time around it felt like there was a lot more emphasis on 'meeting specific metrics' that seemed to come out of nowhere. Had a few colleagues who were surprised by their ratings, and not in a good way. It wasn't just about doing your job; it felt like you had to hit these very precise targets that weren't always clearly communicated beforehand. Makes you wonder if there's an underlying pressure for something. Just looking to see if others experienced a similar shift in how performance is being evaluated lately. Trying to understand if this is a new standard or just a weird year.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a shift in the performance review process lately. It feels less about overall contribution and more about hitting these very granular, sometimes arbitrary, targets. It's frustrating when the expectations aren't clearly laid out beforehand, leading to confusion and disappointment. Makes it hard to feel like you're truly being evaluated fairly when the goalposts seem to move without notice.
