Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of chatter on here about potential layoffs at Cintas. While there's nothing concrete, I wanted to start a discussion about how things are feeling on the ground. My performance review just wrapped up, and it felt...different. More emphasis on "efficiency" and "streamlining operations," which, let's be honest, can be code for something else. Anyone else notice a shift in how goals are being set or how performance is being measured? Wondering if this is a company-wide thing or just specific departments. My review also felt a bit unusual this year. The focus on efficiency metrics was definitely heightened, and the feedback seemed to circle back to process improvements more than individual contributions. It's hard not to read into it when the company narrative is so heavily centered on optimization. Hopefully, it's just a standard business cycle adjustment and not a precursor to larger changes. Curious to hear if others are experiencing similar shifts in their departments.
