Cintas: Seeing a lot more 'efficiency drives' lately. Anyone else?

Hey folks, been with Cintas for a few years now, and lately, there's been a noticeable uptick in 'efficiency initiatives' and 'process optimization' meetings. It's not just my department either, I've heard similar things from colleagues in other divisions. They're talking about streamlining workflows, reducing overhead, and generally 'doing more with less.' While I get that businesses always look to improve, the intensity and frequency of these discussions feel different than usual. It's starting to make me a bit uneasy, especially since there hasn't been any official communication about why this is happening. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide push or if I'm just in a pocket of increased scrutiny. Anyone else experiencing this and have any insights?

Yeah, definitely feeling that here too. Seems like every other email is about a new 'efficiency drive.' It's all very corporate buzzword-heavy, and honestly, it's a bit stressful. Feels like we're constantly being asked to do more with less, and the goalposts keep moving. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard when you're seeing the same messages across different teams.

Interesting that you're seeing this too. I've noticed more emphasis on metrics and productivity targets lately. Management seems really focused on cost savings and operational improvements. While I appreciate the desire to be lean, I do worry about the impact on employee morale and workload if these drives aren't managed carefully. Hoping it leads to genuine improvements rather than just more pressure.
