Anyone else feeling the crunch in their team?

Lately, it feels like we're being asked to do more with significantly less. Projects that used to have dedicated teams are now being consolidated, and the pressure to deliver is higher than ever. My manager keeps talking about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining operations,' which translates to more work on our plates without any extra hands. I'm starting to wonder if this is a precursor to something bigger. Has anyone else in Citi experienced this kind of ramp-up in workload and expectations recently, especially without any overt communication about staffing changes? It's creating a lot of anxiety.

Totally know what you mean. The 'efficiency' talk is constant, and it really feels like we're expected to stretch ourselves thinner and thinner. It's exhausting trying to keep up with the increased demands while the resources seem to be shrinking. Makes you wonder about the long-term sustainability of this pace and what it really means for the company's direction. Hope things ease up soon, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath.
