Anyone else feeling the 'quiet restructuring' vibe at Citi?

Just a general feeling around the office lately, not sure if anyone else is picking up on it. Performance reviews are coming up, and while nothing's been explicitly said, there's a weird energy. Feels like a lot of projects are being quietly re-prioritized, and some teams are just... smaller than they used to be, without any major announcements. Saw some chatter about hiring freezes in certain areas, but nothing concrete. Just trying to gauge if this is a widespread feeling or if I'm just overthinking things. Anyone heard anything, or just noticing the same subtle shifts?

I've definitely felt a similar undercurrent. It's subtle, but you notice it in the way resources are allocated and how certain initiatives seem to fade away without explanation. It's more about what's *not* being said or funded than any overt changes. Definitely creates a bit of uncertainty when you're trying to plan ahead.

Interesting you bring this up. My experience has been more positive, to be honest. While I understand the feeling of uncertainty can be palpable, I haven't personally seen or experienced any significant cutbacks or reassignments that would suggest a 'quiet restructuring.' Perhaps it's department-specific, or maybe the perception varies widely across the organization.
