Been with Citi for a few years now and while things have been stable, I'm starting to wonder about the broader strategic direction. With the current economic climate and intense competition, I feel like Citi is at a crossroads. There's a lot of talk about divestitures and refocusing, which is fine, but what does that really mean for the rank and file in the medium to long term? Are we investing in growth areas, or are we essentially trimming the fat? I'm not necessarily hearing layoff rumors, but the lack of clear, exciting growth narratives makes me a bit nervous about future opportunities and stability. Just looking for honest takes from others in the trenches.
