WFH policy changes making me nervous?

Just saw another internal comms about 'optimizing our hybrid work model' or some such corporate speak. It feels like another step towards pushing people back into the office more often, and honestly, with the way things have been lately, it feels less like a policy adjustment and more like a precursor to something else. Workload is definitely up, but hiring seems nonexistent. Anyone else getting this vibe? Feels like they're trying to squeeze more out of the existing workforce before making any big decisions. I'm already trying to update my resume just in case, but it's hard to shake the feeling that something's brewing. Feels like we're being managed for attrition.
