Anyone else feel like the rug was pulled out from under them?

Just trying to process what happened. One minute I'm working on my projects, next minute I'm getting a generic email and my access is revoked. No warning, no 'performance' talk, nothing. It feels so impersonal and frankly, insulting. We poured so much into this company, worked late nights, weekends sometimes, and this is how it's repaid? Saw the news about the stock drop and earnings, makes it sting even more. Like we were just a line item to be cut to make some numbers look better for the investors. Wondering if anyone else feels this way, like it wasn't about individual performance at all, just a business decision that steamrolled a lot of good people.

Totally get that feeling. It's gutting when a company you've dedicated so much time and effort to suddenly makes such drastic changes without any real communication. The lack of warning and the impersonal nature of the notification make it feel incredibly disrespectful, especially considering the commitment many of us made. It's hard not to feel blindsided and undervalued when your contributions seem to mean so little in the end. Makes you question everything you put into it. Definitely a tough pill to swallow after all the hard work.
