Is anyone else seeing strange team restructuring after the recent cuts?

So, the news dropped about the 1100 layoffs back in July. We all know the official line about 'efficiency' and 'optimization.' But since then, I've noticed some really odd shifts within my own department and heard similar things from others. Teams are being merged, roles are being redefined on the fly, and frankly, the workload hasn't decreased at all. If anything, it feels like the remaining people are expected to pick up the slack and do more with less. It's creating a lot of confusion and burnout. People are asking what the long-term plan is. Are we just supposed to keep absorbing work? It feels less like strategic restructuring and more like a frantic attempt to cover gaps. Anyone else in a similar boat or have any insights into what's actually happening behind the scenes?

Yeah, the internal reshuffling post-layoffs has been pretty wild. It feels like management is trying to fill gaps without a clear strategy, leading to a lot of duplicated effort and people being pulled in directions that don't quite align with their core skills. It's definitely creating some friction and a sense of 'what's next?' that's unsettling for morale. Hoping things stabilize soon.

The restructuring is definitely noticeable. It's like they're trying to re-engineer the ship while it's still sailing, which never feels smooth. Seems like a lot of good people are gone, and now the remaining teams are stretched thin trying to cover all bases. The lack of clear communication about these changes is adding to the uncertainty. Just trying to navigate it day by day.
