What's the real impact of these 1100 layoffs on remaining employees?

Just saw the news about Cloudflare laying off 1100 people. It's insane. The official reason seems to be about efficiency and changes driven by new tech, but I'm wondering about the practical effect on us who are still here. Is anyone else on my team feeling the strain already? We're picking up the slack, but it feels like a lot. The workload is definitely increasing, and honestly, morale took a huge hit. It’s hard to stay motivated when you see so many colleagues gone, and you’re suddenly expected to do more with less. It makes you question your own job security too, even if you weren't directly impacted this time. How are other teams managing? Are we seeing more projects being deprioritized or stretched thin? I'm really concerned about burnout and whether the company has a realistic plan for how the remaining people are supposed to cover the gaps.
