CME Group - Any News on Hiring Freezes?

Just wondering if anyone has noticed a slowdown in hiring or if certain departments have put a pause on new roles. My team's been trying to backfill a couple of positions for a while now, and it feels like it's dragging on longer than usual. Not sure if it's just a slow recruitment cycle or something more. Also, seeing some chatter on other financial platforms about budget reviews and cost-saving measures across the industry. Anyone in a position to know if CME is doing similar internal reviews that might impact future hiring plans or even current team sizes? Appreciate any insights.

I've definitely felt a bit of a slowdown in my department. We've had a couple of roles open for months without much movement, and it's not typical for CME. It's hard to say if it's a broad freeze or just specific teams, but the prolonged timelines are noticeable. I've heard whispers about budget reviews as well, so it wouldn't surprise me if there's some belt-tightening happening. Hopefully, it's just a temporary phase and things pick up soon.
