Hey all, Been working at CME for a bit now and lately, I've noticed some odd things. Budgets seem tighter, travel approvals are getting scrutinized way more than usual, and there's a general sense of 'leaner and meaner' in the air. It's not just my team either, I've heard similar comments from folks in other departments. Is anyone else picking up on this? Wondering if it's just general economic belt-tightening or if there's something more specific going on internally. Haven't seen any official announcements or anything concrete, but the vibe is definitely shifting. Curious to hear if anyone has any insights or has experienced similar things. Trying not to panic but also want to be aware of what's happening around the company.

Yeah, I've definitely felt it too. The travel restrictions are way stricter, and even small expenses that used to be no-brainers are requiring extra layers of approval.
