CME Group - anyone else feeling the pinch?

Hey everyone. Just wanted to see if anyone else at CME is feeling a bit uneasy lately? I haven't heard any official news or seen any announcements, but there's definitely a weird vibe in the air. Some teams seem to be hiring, but others have frozen projects or have had key people leave unexpectedly. Meetings feel a bit more tense, and there's a lot of quiet speculation going around. Is it just me, or is anyone else picking up on something? Trying not to panic, but it's hard not to when you see these subtle shifts. Anyone have any intel or insights they're willing to share (anonymously, of course)? Just looking for some commiseration or clarity if possible. Thanks.

Yeah, I've definitely felt that. It's tough when you can't quite put your finger on what's going on. There's been a lot of talk, and the inconsistency across departments is what really makes you wonder. Trying to stay focused on my work, but it's hard to ignore the undercurrent of uncertainty. Hopefully, we'll get some clarity soon.

I hear you. It feels like the company is in a bit of a transition, but nobody's really communicating what that looks like. The departures and project freezes are concerning, especially when you see others still actively recruiting. Makes you question strategy and stability. Just want to understand the direction things are heading so we can all align.
