CME Group - Anyone else seeing increased workload lately?

Hey all, been at CME for a few years now and lately things have felt… different. My team's workload has ramped up significantly over the past quarter, and it feels like we're expected to do more with the same resources. Just wondering if this is an isolated thing or if others are experiencing the same across different departments. Are performance goals being adjusted upwards? Feels like a lot of pressure building, and I'm starting to wonder what the endgame is. Any insights on how the company is performing from a financial perspective lately? Haven't heard much beyond the usual earnings calls, which always sound positive. Just trying to get a pulse on the broader sentiment. Is this just the normal grind, or is there something else going on behind the scenes?

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling it too. It's not just your team, seems like a lot of areas are under pressure. The market's been pretty wild, and I guess that translates to more operational demands. It's tough when you feel like you're constantly playing catch-up. Wondering if there's a strategy behind this or just a reaction to external factors. Hopefully, it evens out soon.

I've noticed the increased pace as well, and it's not just workload. The expectations seem higher across the board, with less room for error. It's making it hard to keep up with daily tasks, let alone focus on longer-term projects. Trying to stay positive and focus on efficiency, but it's definitely a strain. Curious to hear if others have found ways to manage or if leadership has communicated any plans for this.
