Coinbase layoffs again? What's the real reason this time?

Heard the news about Coinbase cutting more people. This is like the third or fourth time in a couple of years, right? Feels like a constant churn. First it was 14%, then another chunk, now this. I'm trying to understand what's really going on behind the scenes. They always cite 'restructuring' or 'economic headwinds,' but is it really just that, or are they struggling with their core business model? With crypto being so volatile, I get that business can fluctuate, but it seems like Coinbase is always in some kind of crisis mode. Is anyone else worried about the long-term stability? I'm not even an employee, but I've considered applying there before. Now I'm not so sure. Feels like a really unstable place to build a career. Anyone have inside info or a different perspective on why this keeps happening?

It's definitely concerning to see repeated layoffs. While economic conditions and market volatility in crypto are undeniable factors, it also makes you wonder if there are deeper operational issues or perhaps overly aggressive hiring during boom times that are now being corrected. The constant restructuring suggests a lack of long-term strategic stability, which isn't great for employee morale or investor confidence. Hopefully, they can find a more sustainable path forward soon.
