Colgate-Palmolive: Shifting strategies or just market noise?

Hey everyone, Been at CP for a few years now, and lately, I've been noticing some interesting shifts. There's a lot of talk about streamlining operations and focusing on core brands, which sounds reasonable on paper. But from my vantage point, it feels like there's a bit more churn in certain departments than usual, and some projects that seemed like priorities a year ago are now on the back burner. Has anyone else in different divisions picked up on this? Is it just the typical cyclical nature of the consumer goods industry, or does this feel like a more deliberate strategic pivot that might have ripple effects down the line? Curious to hear from others who might have a broader perspective or insights into what leadership is really aiming for. Trying to get a sense of the longer-term trajectory here, beyond the immediate quarterly reports. Appreciate any thoughts or observations.

I've been watching CP from the outside, and I've definitely seen the focus on core brands. Seems like a smart move to shore up those big names. However, the internal churn you're describing is a bit concerning. It's hard to execute big strategic shifts without some internal stability. Hopefully, it's just a temporary adjustment period and not indicative of deeper issues.
