Saw the WARN notice for the 180 headcount reduction in Michigan. It’s quiet on the floor, but I’ve been hearing whispers about 'restructuring' for weeks now. I’ve been with the company for seven years and this feels different than the typical quarterly efficiency push. Has anyone actually received their formal notification yet? I’m trying to figure out if this is concentrated in specific supply chain roles or if it's hitting G&A too. Honestly, the silence from leadership is the most stressful part. It is honestly brutal how they handle these transitions. I’m in G&A and the tension is palpable; nobody is saying anything, but people are clearing out their personal items just in case. Seven years is a long time to give to a company only to be met with total radio silence during a layoff. If you are waiting for a formal notification, keep your eyes on your private email or calendar invites for sudden afternoon meetings. My gut feeling is that they are targeting efficiency across the board, not just supply chain, so watch your back regardless of your department.
