Impact of market shifts on Conagra roles?

Curious to hear from others at Conagra about how the current market is affecting our day-to-day and potential long-term stability. We're seeing inflation, changing consumer habits, and increased competition in the CPG space. How is this translating to your specific roles or departments? I've noticed a definite push for efficiency and cost-saving measures across the board. Budgets seem tighter, and there's more scrutiny on new initiatives. It makes sense from a business perspective, but it also leads to questions about headcount and future needs. Are you seeing any signs of roles being consolidated or responsibilities shifting significantly? I'm not talking about specific layoff numbers here, as there's no official word, but more about the strategic adjustments the company might be making in response to external pressures. Are we focusing on core brands? Divesting less profitable lines? How does that impact the people working on those areas? Would be interested to hear what others are observing.

Yeah, efficiency is the word. Feels like we're constantly being asked to do more with less, especially in areas like supply chain and production. There's definitely a sense of needing to be leaner. I'm seeing more focus on optimizing existing processes rather than launching entirely new things. Long-term stability is hard to gauge when the whole industry is in flux, but I'm hopeful the company's diversified portfolio will help us weather the storm. Just gotta stay adaptable.

Definitely feel the pinch. My department has seen a slowdown in new project approvals, and the emphasis is squarely on existing product lines and their profitability. Marketing budgets are also tighter, requiring more creative, lower-cost strategies. It's a bit of a grind, honestly, trying to hit targets with fewer resources. The consumer shift towards value brands is also a big factor we're all trying to navigate. It's a challenging but also interesting time to be in CPG.
