Is the Fennville cut the start of a broader Q3 trend?

So, 75 people at Fennville got the axe this week. Seeing the news hit the WARN trackers is never fun. It feels like Conagra has been trying to tighten the belt for months, but seeing actual numbers makes it real. Does anyone have intel on whether this was a site-specific performance issue or if we should be expecting more 'restructuring' across other departments throughout the summer? I’ve been feeling a bit uneasy lately with the lack of transparency in the recent town halls. Curious if other locations or departments are seeing similar patterns or if this is isolated. Stay safe out there, everyone.

It’s definitely unnerving. Management has been talking about 'operational efficiency' for a while now, but those buzzwords usually just mask the reality of these cuts. The lack of transparency in the recent town halls isn't surprising, though. They hate showing their hand until the last second, which leaves the rest of us guessing about what’s coming next. I’d be very surprised if this was the end of it, especially with the pressure they’re under to hit those quarterly margins. Don't be shocked if more announcements roll out before the end of Q3.

The silence from leadership is the most frustrating part of all this. Everyone knows the belt-tightening has been in full swing across the corporate offices, so seeing it hit production in Fennville feels like a shift in strategy. It’s hard to tell if this is a temporary fix or a sign of deeper structural issues, but the lack of clear communication definitely doesn't help morale. I'm keeping my head down and staying ready for whatever comes next, because it feels like there’s more restructuring coming down the pipeline for the rest of the summer.
