Hey everyone, been with COP for a few years now and lately, the vibe feels… different. Not hearing any concrete layoff news, but there's this underlying tension I can't quite shake. Been seeing some reshuffling in departments, projects getting put on hold longer than usual, and just a general feeling of 'watchful waiting'. Are others picking up on this? Is it industry-wide jitters or something specific to us? Trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if this is just the usual cyclical stuff in the energy sector. Honestly, the lack of clear communication is the worst part. Feels like we're all trying to read tea leaves. Any insights or similar experiences would be appreciated.

I've noticed it too. It's not just you. There's definitely a shift in the air. Projects feeling slower, more questions about efficiency than usual. It's hard to pinpoint the exact cause, but the feeling of uncertainty is palpable. Hoping it's just a temporary phase and not a sign of bigger things to come. Keeping an eye on industry news doesn't offer much clarity either, as it seems pretty volatile across the board right now.
