Hey everyone, Been with COP for a few years now, and lately, the vibe feels… off. Heard some whispers about budget tightening and hiring freezes in certain departments, but nothing concrete. Project scopes seem to be getting smaller, and there's a general sense of 'doing more with less' that's starting to make me anxious. Anyone else picking up on this? It's not official layoffs, but it feels like the prelude. Trying not to stress, but it's hard when you see resources being stretched thin. Wondering if this is just a cyclical thing or if there's something bigger brewing. Any insights from others in the trenches would be appreciated. Just looking to see if I'm overthinking or if others are seeing the same signs. Thanks.

I've definitely noticed a shift in project focus too. It feels like a lot more emphasis on efficiency and maximizing existing assets rather than big new initiatives. Makes sense given the market, but yeah, the 'doing more with less' feeling is real. Trying to stay positive and focus on delivering strong results in my current role.

Totally hear you. It's hard not to feel a bit uneasy when the narrative shifts towards cost-saving. I'm hoping it's just a standard cyclical thing and not a sign of deeper issues. Keeping my head down and continuing to contribute is my strategy for now, but I appreciate you sharing your observations.
