Anyone else feeling the pre-layoff jitters at Constellation Brands?

Hey all, just wanted to see if anyone else is picking up on the same vibes I am over at Constellation Brands. There's been a lot of quiet chatter, some departments seem to be freezing hiring like crazy, and the 'synergy' talk is really picking up. It feels like a matter of 'when,' not 'if,' something is coming down the pike. My team is doing okay for now, but there's definitely an undercurrent of anxiety. We've seen some higher-ups making exits too, which is never a great sign. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide feeling or if I'm just in a particularly sensitive corner of the business. Anyone else in sales, marketing, or operations seeing similar things? Curious to hear what others are hearing or observing, even if it's just speculation at this point. Trying to stay ahead of the curve and just be prepared.

I'm definitely feeling it too. The hiring freeze has been noticeable for a while now, and the 'efficiency reviews' feel like a prelude to something bigger. It's unsettling to see people leaving, especially from leadership. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Hope my department stays safe, but it's hard not to worry when the signs are all there.

Yeah, the whispers are loud in my area as well. Lots of 'realignments' and talk about optimizing resources. It's the classic pre-layoff playbook, isn't it? Trying to stay focused on my work, but the uncertainty is a constant distraction. Crossing my fingers that it blows over or at least doesn't impact too many people. It's a tough climate right now.
