Anyone else notice the silence from leadership lately?

Hey everyone, been at Constellation Brands for a few years now in the beverage division. Things feel… quiet lately. Usually, there's a lot of buzz about upcoming projects, expansions, and new product launches. Lately though, it’s been radio silence. My manager is being pretty tight-lipped about Q3/Q4 plans, and even the town halls feel a bit more generic than usual. I've seen some whispers online about hiring freezes in certain departments, though nothing official. Curious if anyone else is picking up on this vibe or if I'm just overthinking things. My team's workload hasn't changed, but there's a general sense of uncertainty creeping in. Anyone hearing anything, or just general observations about the company's current trajectory? Trying to gauge the temperature here.

I've definitely felt that quietness too, working in the wine sector here. My team's been told to focus on optimizing existing operations rather than any major new initiatives. It's a bit unnerving, honestly. Usually, there's a clearer roadmap, but right now it feels like we're navigating without a map. Hopefully, this is just a strategic pause and not a sign of bigger issues.

Interesting to hear you say that. From my perspective in the spirits side, it's been a similar vibe. Less fanfare, more emphasis on efficiency. I've also heard rumblings about hiring slowdowns, especially for roles that aren't immediately revenue-generating. It makes you wonder what the broader strategy is behind this shift in communication and focus.
