Anyone else seeing weird hiring freezes at Constellation Brands lately?

Hey all, been with Constellation for a few years now and things feel... different. We've had a few key projects put on hold indefinitely, and the usual budget for team events and training seems to have evaporated. My manager is being super cagey about it, just saying 'resource reallocation.' Honestly, it's making me nervous. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are other departments seeing similar slowdowns or hiring freezes? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or just my corner of the wine & spirits empire. Feels a bit like the calm before a storm, and I'm just looking for some intel from others in the same boat. Let me know what you're seeing.

Yeah, definitely noticing some of that here too. It's not just projects being paused, but also a general tightening on expenses across the board. Less travel, fewer external vendors, that kind of thing. The vibe is definitely more cautious than it was even six months ago. Makes you wonder what's brewing behind the scenes, doesn't it? Hopefully, it's just a temporary recalibration and not a sign of bigger issues.

I haven't heard about formal hiring freezes, but recruitment for certain roles has definitely slowed to a crawl. Positions that would normally be filled in a month or two are now dragging on for ages, or worse, getting quietly shelved. It's creating a bit of a strain on existing teams who are trying to pick up the slack. The lack of clear communication is the most frustrating part, for sure.
