Constellation Brands: Anyone else seeing unusual project pauses?

Hey folks, been at Constellation Brands for a few years now, primarily in [mention department vaguely, e.g., Supply Chain/Marketing/Tech]. Lately, I've noticed a weird vibe. A couple of projects I was involved in, which seemed pretty solid and on track, have suddenly been put on indefinite hold. No real explanation, just 'strategic reprioritization.' My manager is being super cagey about it, which is unlike them. I'm not hearing any direct layoff rumors, but this feels like a classic 'calm before the storm' situation. Anyone else experiencing similar project stalls or a general slowdown across different teams? Trying to gauge if this is a widespread thing or if I'm just in a weird pocket of the company. It's making it hard to plan my own workload and frankly, a bit unsettling.

Definitely seeing some similar signals in my area. It's unsettling when initiatives just halt without clear communication. Makes you wonder about the bigger picture and future direction. Trying to stay focused on current tasks, but the uncertainty is hard to ignore. Hope we get some clarity soon.

Interesting you bring this up. While I haven't personally seen project pauses, there's definitely been a shift in how resources are being allocated. More focus on core business and less on speculative ventures, perhaps? The 'strategic reprioritization' buzzword is being used a lot more frequently across different teams. It's creating a cautious atmosphere, for sure.
