I’ve been at STZ for a few years now, and the recent departures in the leadership team are starting to feel a bit more than 'coincidental' or 'personal reasons.' When you see high-level people exit without a clear succession plan, it usually means there’s a major strategic pivot happening behind closed doors. My manager has been completely tight-lipped during our 1:1s, which is a massive deviation from the usual transparency we get. I’m just trying to figure out if I should be polishing my resume this weekend or if I’m just overthinking the corporate restructuring noise. If anyone in the Victor or Chicago offices has heard anything about a broader re-org, please share. The lack of communication is honestly worse than just ripping the bandage off at this point.

The leadership churn is definitely a red flag, especially with the silence from upper management. When transparency suddenly drops off, it usually means the rumors of a strategic pivot or restructuring are hitting too close to home. If I were you, I’d start dusting off the resume today rather than waiting for the official announcement. It’s always better to be proactive and ahead of the curve than stuck in a sinking ship with no clear direction from the top.

I wouldn't panic just yet. STZ has gone through these cycles before, and sometimes these departures are just a matter of people choosing to move on for their own career growth rather than a sign of corporate collapse. That said, if your gut is telling you something is off, trust it. Keep your network warm and update your LinkedIn profile quietly. It doesn't mean you have to quit tomorrow, but having an exit strategy in your back pocket is just smart professional hygiene.
