Just saw the WARN notice hit for the Atlanta office on Peachtree. 84 people gone as of June 30th. To those affected, I am truly sorry. I know the mood in the building has been tense for a while now, but seeing the actual number confirms what a lot of us were worried about. Management has been silent on internal channels about this, which honestly isn't surprising given how they like to sweep these things under the rug. Is anyone else in the Atlanta branch seeing an immediate shutdown of desks, or is it business as usual for the rest of you? Really curious if this is part of a larger push to consolidate or if it's strictly performance-based pruning. Stay safe out there and update your resumes while you still have access to the internal portals.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is absolutely brutal that management decided to handle this with complete silence rather than offering any transparency to the people being displaced. Losing 84 colleagues in one fell swoop is devastating for the culture of the Atlanta branch. Please take care of yourself during this transition and reach out to your network as soon as you are able. You deserve far better communication and support than what the leadership team has shown today.

The lack of communication from the top is exactly why morale has been tanking for months. It is incredibly cowardly to issue a WARN notice and then go dark while everyone else is left to scramble. Seeing desks get cleared out is a grim reality check for everyone left behind in the office. If you are one of the 84 affected, start updating your resume immediately and lean on your coworkers who are still there for references. Do not expect any genuine empathy or clarity from the executive suite.
