Hey everyone, been at CoStar for a few years now, and lately it feels like the atmosphere has been a bit... tense. Not hearing any concrete layoff news, but there's definitely a buzz. Hiring freezes on some teams, whispers about restructuring, and just a general sense of 'watching your back.' Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my department, or is this a company-wide vibe? Trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if it's just the usual year-end jitters. Curious to hear if others are seeing similar signs or have any insights. Appreciate any honest takes.

I'm definitely feeling it too, and it's not just year-end. Been hearing similar things across different teams. The hiring freezes are real, and there's a noticeable slowdown in project approvals. It feels like management is tightening the purse strings and making decisions with a lot more caution than usual. Trying to stay positive, but the uncertainty is hard to ignore. Makes you wonder what the long-term strategy really is. Glad to know I'm not the only one sensing the shift. Feels like a waiting game right now.
