Been seeing a lot of internal emails about 'optimizing resources' and 'prioritizing strategic initiatives' lately. Usually, I'd just brush this off as corporate speak, but it's coming up more frequently. My manager's been a bit cagey when asked about team budgets for Q3/Q4. Seems like travel is being scrutinized heavily, and there's a general slowdown in approving new software/tools. Anyone else in different departments seeing similar belt-tightening? Trying to figure out if this is a sign of bigger issues or just the usual end-of-year budget planning. Curious to hear what others are experiencing.
