Anyone else feeling uneasy about the 'restructuring' emails?

I've been with Costco for 8 years, mostly in the e-commerce fulfillment side, and I've seen my share of company-wide announcements. But these recent emails about 'restructuring for future growth' are giving me serious anxiety. They're vague enough to not confirm anything, but also specific enough to suggest some departments are getting a major overhaul. My team has been particularly quiet lately, and project timelines are shifting. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it feels like something is brewing. Anyone else picking up on this?

I understand your concern. I got similar vibes from corporate memos before a big reorganization at my previous job. The vague language is classic HR speak for potential layoffs or significant role changes. Keep your resume updated and start networking, just in case. It's always better to be prepared.

Restructuring is just corporate buzzword bingo. Costco is doing fine, and they wouldn't risk alienating employees right now with the holiday season coming up. Remember the last 'restructuring'? Nothing really changed except for some titles. Probably just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, as usual. I'd relax and focus on your work.
