Thinking about future career moves and wondering about Costco's compensation package these days. I've always heard they pay pretty well for retail, especially with the benefits and 401k match. I've been with Costco for a few years now, and honestly, the pay and benefits are still pretty solid. While it's true other companies are throwing money around, Costco's overall package, including their generous 401k match and healthcare, remains a huge draw. They tend to be pretty steady, which I appreciate, even if it's not always the flashy headline-grabbing increases you see elsewhere. For retail, it's hard to beat the stability and the comprehensive benefits they offer.
