Costco stocking and warehouse team - what's the real deal?

Hey all, lurker here but been seeing some weird things at my local Costco lately. The stocking seems a bit more rushed, and I've noticed some departments are consistently understaffed. Warehouses seem to be the ones feeling it the most. Doesn't feel like the usual smooth operation. Anyone else in the stocking or warehouse side of things noticing a difference? Is it just my store, or is there something going on network-wide? Been with Costco for a few years now and this feels...off. Not hearing any official news, but the atmosphere just feels different. Just curious if anyone has the inside scoop or is feeling similar pressure.

I've been noticing something similar at my local warehouse lately. It feels like they're trying to get things out faster, and some of the shelves aren't as full as they usually are, especially on weekends. It's a shame because I've always appreciated how well-stocked and organized Costco is. Hopefully, it's just a temporary hiccup and not a sign of bigger issues affecting staffing or inventory management across the board.

Yeah, I've seen some changes too. My store feels a bit more chaotic than usual, and it seems like certain areas are always short-handed. It's made finding things a bit more of a scavenger hunt sometimes. I'm wondering if it's related to seasonal rushes or maybe some internal restructuring? It's definitely a noticeable shift from the usual high standards I've come to expect from Costco's operations.
