I've been busting my butt in the Incident Response team for the past 2 years, and honestly, I'm burnt out. The workload is insane, the deadlines are impossible, and the constant pressure to perform is just relentless. I understand we're in a competitive industry, but it feels like management is squeezing every last drop of productivity out of us. I'm starting to resent the work, and I used to love it. Anyone else feeling this way? I'm seriously considering looking for a new job, even though I like the company overall. My mental health is taking a serious hit.

I hear you. IR is brutal everywhere, but some places are worse than others. Two years of that pace is definitely enough to make anyone question their choices. Before you jump ship, have you tried talking to your manager about workload distribution or taking some PTO? Maybe a change in internal role could help too. Document everything you're feeling, it helps when you are making your decision.

Seriously? I've been here longer and the pressure is what makes us the best. You knew what you were getting into when you joined IR at a top company. If you can't handle the heat, maybe incident response isn't for you. Plenty of less demanding roles out there, but don't expect the same career growth or recognition.
