Crown Castle - Anyone seeing increased workload/reduced headcount in recent months?

Hey everyone, posting anonymously here. Been at CC for a few years now, and lately, things have felt... different. My team's been swamped, and I've noticed some roles that were open for a while never got filled. We've also had a couple of key people leave recently, and their responsibilities seem to have been absorbed by the rest of us rather than backfilled. It's not just my department either; I've heard similar whispers from folks in other divisions about stretched resources and a general sense of 'doing more with less'. I know there haven't been any official announcements or widespread layoff news, which is why I'm hesitant to jump to conclusions. But the increased workload and the lack of hiring are definitely making me feel a bit uneasy. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it a general market trend affecting real estate/infrastructure companies, or is it something more specific to CC? Curious to hear what others are seeing and feeling on the ground.

Yeah, I've been feeling that too. It seems like there's a real push to do more with less. My team's project load has definitely ramped up, and we're constantly juggling priorities with fewer people. It's starting to wear on morale, and I worry about burnout if this trend continues. It feels like the company is expecting the same output, if not more, despite the leaner staffing. Definitely an interesting, if stressful, time to be here.

Interesting to see this post. While I can't speak for every department, my experience has been similar. We've had a few departures, and the remaining team members are picking up the slack. It's challenging to maintain the same level of quality and speed when everyone is stretched so thin. It makes you wonder about the long-term strategy and if these changes are sustainable. Hoping for some clarity or adjustment soon.
