Crown Castle - Morale & Uncertainty?

Hey everyone. Been with CC for a few years now in [department, e.g., Network Engineering/Sales Ops]. Lately, the vibe feels… off. Management talks are all about efficiency and "streamlining operations," which is usually code for something else, right? We've seen a few high-profile exits recently, not official layoffs, but people leaving for greener pastures. Budgets seem tighter, hiring freezes are definitely in effect, and there's a general sense of waiting for the other shoe to drop. Is this just my team or is the whole company feeling this pressure? Worried about job security and wondering if it's time to start updating the resume. Anyone else picking up on this or have insights into what's really going on behind the scenes? Trying to stay positive but it's hard when the whispers are so loud.

I've noticed the same thing in my division. The 'efficiency' talk definitely raises eyebrows. It feels like a lot of uncertainty about where things are headed, and the recent departures aren't exactly reassuring. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan really is. Hoping for some clarity soon, but it's tough to stay motivated when the future feels so nebulous.

Yeah, the sentiment seems pretty widespread. It's a shame because I used to feel really positive about working here. The constant restructuring and the lack of transparency about it all are creating a lot of anxiety. It's hard to focus on day-to-day tasks when you're constantly scanning the horizon for the next potential change. Hoping management addresses these concerns directly.
