Crown Castle: Is the market softening for us?

Been with CC for a few years now, and things feel... different lately. Used to be every other week was a new project or expanding existing ones. Now, it seems like there's a lot more 'wait and see' from upper management. Budgets feel tighter, and there's a general sense of unease. Not hearing any official word on layoffs, but the vibe is definitely shifting. Anyone else in site acquisition, construction, or even tower operations noticing a slowdown? Feels like the rapid growth we've experienced might be hitting a plateau, and I'm starting to get that nervous twitch. Wondering if we're heading into a leaner period. What are your thoughts on the current market for CC and where things might be headed?

I'm in tower operations and have definitely noticed a shift. The pace has slowed considerably in the last year. We're seeing fewer new builds and more focus on maintenance and small upgrades, which is a change from the constant expansion push we were under previously. My team's workload has decreased, and while we haven't had official communication about budget cuts or slowdowns, the effect is noticeable. It does make you wonder what the longer-term strategy is if the expansion phase is truly winding down.
