Darden - Anyone else feeling the pinch?

Hey all, been with Darden for a few years now and lately things have been feeling...tense. It's not just one thing, but a collection of small changes. We've seen some shifts in how resources are allocated, and there's definitely a lot of talk about efficiency driving decisions. I've heard whispers from colleagues at other Darden brands too, not just my own. It feels like the company is really tightening its belt. Does anyone else feel this atmosphere? Are there specific departments seeing more pressure than others? Trying to gauge if this is a widespread Darden thing or if I'm just in a particularly scrutinized area. Any insights would be appreciated.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling that here too. It's not just the whispers; you can see it in the day-to-day operations. Less support staff, increased workloads, and a general sense of needing to do more with less. It's making it harder to provide the level of service we all strive for, and frankly, it's starting to wear on people. Curious to hear if others are experiencing the same across different brands.

Totally understand what you're saying. The focus on 'efficiency' is palpable, and while some of it might be necessary, it feels like it's coming at the expense of the employee experience and, by extension, the guest experience. We're seeing more pressure to meet metrics that seem increasingly unrealistic. It's a tricky balance, and right now, it feels heavily skewed towards the bottom line without enough consideration for the people making it happen.
