Darden - Anyone seeing internal 'efficiency reviews'?

What's up, Darden folks. I'm at one of the brands and we've had a series of 'efficiency reviews' lately. It's not overtly about layoffs, but it feels... investigatory. They're going over workflows, staffing levels, even looking at how we use certain supplies. HR has been involved more than usual, asking a lot of detailed questions about roles and responsibilities. It’s making people a little antsy, to say the least. They keep saying it's about 'streamlining' and 'enhancing guest experience,' but it feels like they're laying the groundwork for something. Has anyone else experienced this? Any insights into what these reviews typically lead to at Darden? Trying to gauge if this is a standard procedure or something more concerning. Appreciate any intel you can share.

Yeah, we're hearing similar whispers across the sector. Companies are definitely feeling the pressure to optimize everywhere they can, especially with rising costs. I get why it feels unsettling, though. When leadership starts digging deep into how things are done, it's natural to worry about what changes might come next. Hopefully, it's genuinely about making things smoother and not just a precursor to cuts.
