Darden - Financial outlook and our jobs?

Curious to hear thoughts on Darden's recent financial performance. While the top-line numbers might look okay, I'm wondering about the margins and how that might translate down to the operational level. We've had some pretty aggressive cost-cutting measures recently, which is understandable in this economy, but it feels like we're being squeezed more than usual. Some of my colleagues are worried about job security, especially in certain support roles. Is anyone else feeling this pressure? Have there been any discussions about how the company plans to navigate potential economic headwinds, and what that might mean for staffing levels across the board? Trying to gauge the general sentiment and see if others share these concerns.

I've been keeping an eye on the financials too. It does seem like they're pushing efficiency pretty hard right now. While I understand the need to manage costs, especially with inflation, I've also noticed the strain on the ground. It's definitely a talking point among many of us, and the uncertainty about what it means for staffing levels, particularly in non-customer-facing departments, is creating some anxiety. Hopefully, the current strategy leads to stability rather than further reductions.
