Darden - Recent policy changes causing concern?

Seeing a lot of smaller policy tweaks and procedural changes rolling out across Darden lately. Things like stricter T&E policies, updated performance review weighting, and a renewed focus on specific ROI metrics for projects. On one hand, I get the need to be fiscally responsible. On the other, it feels like a lot of administrative burden and a subtle shift in how we're being measured. It's making me wonder if this is just standard operational optimization or if it's related to broader cost-cutting measures. Anyone else feeling this? Is this the new normal, or is something bigger brewing?

I've noticed some of those shifts too. The increased scrutiny on T&E and the re-weighting of reviews definitely add layers. While efficiency is key, it's a tightrope walk between optimizing resources and potentially demotivating teams if it feels like constant micromanagement. Hoping it's more about streamlining and less about cutting corners that impact the core business.

Totally agree, the constant policy adjustments can feel a bit overwhelming. It's tough when the emphasis seems to shift without a clear, overarching narrative. My concern is whether these changes are truly driving sustainable growth or just creating more paperwork and anxiety. Time will tell if they lead to positive long-term outcomes.
