Darden Restaurants - Budget Cuts and Staffing Woes

Is it just me or are the budget cuts at Darden getting really noticeable? My store is running on bare bones staffing lately, and the pressure on the remaining team is insane. We're constantly being asked to do more with less, and it's starting to impact service quality, which is obviously not good for business. Management keeps saying it's about 'optimizing resources,' but it feels like they're just trying to squeeze every last drop out of us before… well, before something. Has anyone heard anything specific about staffing changes or budget freezes impacting operations across different brands? It feels like a preamble to something bigger, and frankly, it’s exhausting trying to keep up. Just looking for some shared experience or insight here. Is this a company-wide thing or localized issues?

Completely feel this. It's been a struggle at my location too. The 'optimize' talk feels hollow when you're running around like a headless chicken trying to keep up with tables, bussing, stocking, and running food because there simply aren't enough hands. It's exhausting, and you can see the customer experience suffering because we're stretched too thin. Hope leadership is actually listening to the feedback from the ground level.
