With Q3 earnings approaching, I'm curious to hear what others are expecting. We've seen some mixed signals in the market lately, and I'm trying to get a read on how Deere might be positioned. Have there been any analyst reports or internal chatter that gives a clue about guidance or potential headwinds? Specifically interested in how the [Specific Product Line - e.g., large ag, construction] segment might be performing. I know we can't predict the future, but I'm trying to put together a realistic picture of what the next quarter might hold from a business performance perspective, and whether that might translate into any workforce adjustments. Anyone have a crystal ball, or at least some solid intel from their corner of the company?

Watching Deere closely as well. The ag equipment side seems to be facing some inventory adjustments, but strong demand in construction could offer a nice counterbalance. I'm hoping management provides clearer color on supply chain improvements and any shifts in order backlogs. Anything about farmer sentiment or capital expenditure plans would be particularly valuable for assessing the outlook.

I've been following some of the commentary around commodity prices and their impact on farm income. That usually dictates a lot for Deere's large ag segment. Construction is a different beast, often driven by infrastructure spending and housing starts. Curious if they'll signal any changes in production schedules or if current pricing power is holding up across the board.
