Deere - Anyone else seeing hiring freezes or slower recruitment?

Hi all, I'm currently in the midst of a hiring process for a [mention a general role, e.g., Marketing/Software Development] position at Deere. It's been going on for a while now, much longer than I expected based on the initial timeline. The recruiter has gone a bit quiet, and when I have reached out, the responses have been vague, mentioning 'internal review' or 're-evaluating headcount needs.' This has me a bit worried. I know the economy is a bit unpredictable right now, but I'm wondering if this is a sign of a broader hiring freeze or a slowdown happening across the company. Has anyone else experienced this recently, either as an internal candidate or someone going through the external hiring process? Trying to figure out if I should temper my expectations or if this is just a normal part of the Deere hiring machine these days. Any insights would be appreciated.

I'm not directly involved in hiring at Deere, but I've heard whispers from some folks in engineering that things have definitely tightened up. It seems like they're being much more selective and perhaps delaying some of the newer roles. It's probably a combination of market conditions and just prudent business practice to reassess needs. Hang in there, hopefully, it's just a temporary lull and not a sign of bigger issues.

I've seen something similar in my department. We had a few positions open up a few months ago, and the recruitment process stretched out way longer than anticipated. Eventually, some of those roles were put on hold indefinitely. It's a tough market out there for everyone, and even large companies like Deere have to be cautious with their spending and hiring. Keep following up, but manage your expectations.
