Dexcom: Anyone else seeing hiring freezes or project slowdowns?

Hey all, longtime lurker here. Been at Dexcom for a few years and things have felt... different lately. Heard whispers about a hiring freeze in a few departments, and some projects that were full steam ahead seem to be slowing down considerably or getting re-scoped. My manager is being pretty tight-lipped, just saying we're 'optimizing resources.' Anyone else picking up on this? Not hearing outright layoff rumors, but the vibe is definitely shifting from growth mode. Curious if this is widespread or just in my area. Anyone in R&D, Sales, or Operations seeing similar trends?

Yeah, I've noticed some similar things. It's definitely not the same 'go-go-go' atmosphere it used to be. My team's gotten a few 'pause and reassess' messages on upcoming initiatives. We're also seeing some roles that were open for a while now just... sitting empty. It's making people a bit antsy, for sure. Hoping it's just a temporary adjustment phase.

Interesting to hear I'm not the only one. We've had a couple of high-priority projects suddenly get put on the back burner with vague explanations about 'strategic realignment.' It's creating some confusion and making it harder to plan work effectively. Definitely feels like a shift from the rapid expansion we've seen in recent years.
