Dexcom: G7 rollout & employee impact?

With the G7 seemingly gaining traction, I'm wondering about the internal implications. We're all working hard, but sometimes it feels like we're spinning our wheels on legacy products while the focus shifts. Has anyone seen significant changes in workload or team structure related to the G7 push? I'm not talking layoffs specifically, but more about resource allocation, project priorities, and whether our current roles are aligning with the company's future direction. It feels like a critical juncture for Dexcom, and understanding how that impacts us on the ground would be really helpful. Any insights from those closer to the G7 development or market strategy would be appreciated.

I've definitely felt the shift too. It seems like more hands are being pulled towards G7 initiatives, which is understandable given its importance. While I haven't seen major team reorgs, project priorities have certainly shifted, and some legacy work is definitely taking a backseat. It's hard to gauge if our current roles are truly future-proof, but it does make you think about where to focus your own development.

From what I've gathered, the G7 rollout has indeed meant a reallocation of resources. It's a big push for them. Some teams are more directly involved than others, but the ripple effect is there. It's not necessarily a negative thing, but it does mean a change in focus for many. I'm curious to see how this evolves over the next year and if it leads to more specialized roles.
