Anyone else feeling the pressure after the latest cuts?

Following the news about the 168 headcount reduction in Maryland, the atmosphere in the office has been miserable. It’s the classic 'do more with less' mantra again. Management keeps talking about synergies and operational efficiency, but in reality, it’s just double the workload for the people who managed to survive the cull. I’ve been hearing whispers about more 'restructuring' coming down the pipeline later this year. Is anyone actually seeing an increase in productivity, or are we just watching the talent walk out the door while the remaining staff burns out? I'm honestly starting to polish my resume. I love the sector, but the constant instability is becoming impossible to deal with. If you're affected, my inbox is open—I've got some contacts if you need a referral elsewhere.

The mood here is definitely grim. The whole 'synergy' talk is just corporate speak for burning out the remaining staff. I’ve noticed that nobody is actually being more productive; we’re all just exhausted and spending half our day covering tasks for positions that no longer exist. If management expects us to keep up this pace indefinitely, they’re going to be looking at a massive wave of resignations before the next round of restructuring even hits. It feels like the ship is sinking and they’re just rearranging the deck chairs.

Honestly, I stopped caring about the 'operational efficiency' metrics months ago. It’s impossible to maintain quality when you're juggling three different roles just to keep the lights on. The atmosphere in the office is toxic because everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next round of cuts is already being finalized behind closed doors. Stop pretending this is about productivity and just admit that the culture is completely broken. I’m already polishing my resume.
